Meet Courtney
Welcome to Oak & Anchor! My name is Courtney (McKay) Whitfield, and I’ve been designing and decorating properties along the Gulf Coast of Northwest Florida since 2004. I’ve done it all—new construction, remodels, luxe homes, compact condos, and everything in-between. I’ve been fortunate to work alongside some of the best and brightest in the business, and I have gained invaluable insight and experience along the way.
In 2016, I founded Oak & Anchor Interiors—a full-service interior design and decorating company specializing in pre-construction planning, design selections, and our signature, turn-key decorating services for vacation rental homes.
I’m excited to pull back the curtain and share my favorite projects and products with you. And, though my passion and purpose are rooted in creating beautiful spaces, I love all things pretty and practical. Whether building from the ground up or planning a large-scale remodel, we help simplify the build-design process and bring your ideas to life. From dirt to décor, we help you conceptualize the project as a whole, creating a cohesive design plan that works from the inside, out.

Did you know there are many improvements we can make to your property that do not require a contractor? Paint, wallpaper, cabinets, countertops, flooring/wall tile, doors/hardware, decorative carpentry/woodwork, and landscape are all enhancements that we can help with—no contractor needed!

With over 20 years of industry experience, we provide invaluable insight and advice to help you better prepare and plan for your next construction, design, or decorating project. We offer onsite consultations at an hourly rate and can consult with you on any aspect of the project, from plans to paint, and anything else you might want help with!

Our all-inclusive packages include everything from furniture, accessories, window treatments, linens, housewares, and more. We will discuss your design goals, timeframe, and budget, and create a custom design plan for your property. Once approved, O&A will take it from there! When you turn the key, it is done. Voila!

Work with O&A
Oak & Anchor is based in Panama City, Florida, along the Gulf Coast of Northwest Florida, and home to the “World’s Most Beautiful Beaches”. We cover over 80 miles of pristine coastline, spanning three counties. While the majority of our business is located from Mexico Beach to Destin, Florida, our clients and projects take us all over the country—we’d love to help you!
